#insightfultuesday Follow your passions. Corsetry is a passion of mine that I realized I could do something with in my life. Back in the 90's I worked as bridal consultant. Weeks before an "I Do", sometimes only days. I needed to sell a corset for a bride who had gained weight so she could wear her dress. Also it was the time bridal fashion slowly began to introduce strapless and corset styles.
I woke up in such a smashing holiday festive good mood. As the day progressed so did the mood to go down a slippery hill. Perhaps it was because my husband was having a bad day. Perhaps it was because I have been dreaming of a very sad event from my high school days. Perhaps it is my missing my family very much in a way that I can not explain. No matter the reason it resulted in my not being the best socially correct lady. We are taught as young girls to be proper, polite, pretty when out at a social event no matter how big or small. Why must we do this?
For two Holiday seasons the Madame Wiladina Boutique has collected with store earnings and generous donations from our customers items to send to the Domestic violence shelter At one of the poorest indian reservations. Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota and is known for being forgotten people, nothing is worse than a woman with children in an abusive relationship on the reservation. In any violent break you leave normally with very little. You have to leave behind many items. You sometimes leave with what is on your back and that is it.
What type of phrases and words make people notice the best parts of others? Songs, poems, and motto's often express strong emotions and themes that explain who someone is, from the inside out. Everyone is special and unique. Stereotypes never encompass the true individuality of what makes us realize the different attributes each person brings to our diverse world. Everyone has the right, desire, and ability to look and feel beautiful, and express their special unique attributes through the impressions given off to others from the way they look to the way they dress and act.
Hi Awesome Ladies and Gents . I want to share with all of you some awesome information that i am hoping many of you will want to be a part of. Last year I ran my first fundraiser for the White Buffalo Calf Women's Society. This is a domestic violence shelter at the Rosebud Sioux Reservation. So many think of the homeless and not those in a domestic violence shelter. Less think of those on the reservations.
I love the idea of a FREE entry to an EXPO. What is awesome is this is FREE entry Friday night at EXXXOTICA EXPO in Chicago. Gather your BFF's for a night of amazing fun. Come out and find our booth and all be fitted in our corsets, find our sluts in a box lingerie, and panties. There is nothing like bonding over sexy boobage. Rent a party bus and make a night of it with dinner, drinks and the EXPO where you learn that SEX is not a four letter word. Make the Friday night a night that never ends with booking a hotel room for an adult slumber party.
From time to time we run across a customer who makes a purchase and requires a refund or an exchange. I wish to make our policy very clear so there is no misunderstanding.
While much of the country and some of the world is paying attention to our presidential race. I decided to focus on adding some fresh style to our collection. I went to our Facebook page and had a photo album for our customers to vote on. For a limited time our customers voted with a like and comment. We had a lot of votes and I am happy to say your votes brought us new blouses.
As your preparing for your Thanksgiving dinner with family and friends I know your being overloaded with Christmas sale ads. Your even being told to boycott a coffee chain over a red cup. For those that do not know I am part Santee Sioux and that makes me part Lakota. As a woman and a mother I think of the many women and children who are at homeless shelters as well as Domestic abuse shelters.
